Memorandum of Understanding for Joint Scientific, Educational, Research, and Cultural Cooperation between International University TITU Belgium and Islamic Azad University, Karaj Branch
In the presence of Dr. Hossein Kalantari Khalilabad, Secretary of the Board of Trustees and President of Islamic Azad University, Alborz Province and Karaj Branch; Dr. Behzad Jaya Bashi, Vice President of International University of Industrial Technology Technofest (TITU) Belgium; and Dr. Roya Hemmatpour, Dean of the School of Complementary Medicine, along with other university officials, the memorandum of understanding was signed.
According to the Public Relations Office of International University TITU, Dr. Hossein Kalantari Khalilabad highlighted the importance of training international students as cultural ambassadors for Iran. He noted that, given the capabilities of Islamic Azad University in Alborz Province, with over 45,000 students, 504 faculty members, 5 educational units, and 13 approved colleges at the Karaj Branch, the university is working on establishing specialized colleges to address regional challenges. The university is also prepared for joint cooperation with International University TITU Belgium in areas such as educational activities, specialized skill courses, faculty exchange, organizing seminars and conferences, and innovation and commercialization centers. Additionally, it is ready to accept students from TITU University with the goal of training cultural ambassadors for Iran worldwide to showcase the significant achievements of the Islamic Revolution.
The memorandum of understanding, signed by Dr. Hossein Kalantari Khalilabad and Dr. Behzad Jaya Bashi as representatives of the two institutions, aims to facilitate joint educational and research programs; student, researcher, and faculty exchanges; research opportunities; joint scientific gatherings; collaboration in scientific journals; organizing joint courses and workshops; cooperation in short-term specialized (skill-based) and general courses in various scientific, technical, and specialized fields; joint efforts in science and technology parks; commercialization of knowledge; development of language and literature of both countries; and introduction of the history, art, and civilization of both countries.
